Hello everyone! My name is Linda Wirt and I am very excited to share with you my lessons, tips and tricks for my favorite DIY projects. I am a life-long craft enthusiast, as well as, a teacher of many things. It is my experience as a teacher that has given me the desire to share my creativity and passion for all things in the world of crafting.
I have tried many different mediums of arts and crafts. I started with sewing at the age of nine, then dabbled in painting and drawing, enjoyed building and making things with wood, explored the world of paper crafting, was a scrapbook consultant for over 10 years, recently have learned the ancient art of basketweaving and the new art of Cricut creations. With each new medium, I have found myself eventually teaching what I have learned to others who have the same passion.
I am a Career and Technical Education teacher in a vocational high school teaching my career of Medical Assisting. In my spare time, I love to get together with my friends and scrapbook, take classes in anything new that I haven’t tried before and spend time with my family.
I am excited to start sharing my passion for DIY projects to a larger audience and have taken the step into the big wide world out there. I hope you will take this step with me and learn something new, try a new project and perhaps step outside your comfort zone.
